Biographie

Issue d’une famille d’Artistes, Alexia Celoro étudie dès son plus jeune âge la Musique et les Arts Plastiques et obtient son diplôme des Beaux-Arts de Bruxelles.

L’Artiste Peintre intègre "Les Ateliers Mommen" de Bruxelles et vit plusieurs années entourée de trente-six autres Artistes multidisciplinaires professionnels. Alexia Celoro commence ainsi assez rapidement à exposer et son travail pictural est remarqué par des Collectionneurs en Belgique, en France, en Allemagne, en Italie et en Hollande.

D’origine italienne et espagnole, Alexia continue son exploration culturelle au gré de ses nombreux voyages en Europe, pendant lesquels elle étudie dans des ateliers d’Artistes les sujets qui la passionnent comme l’anatomie, les portraits, les couleurs, l’abstraction ou encore les textures.

La singularité picturale d’Alexia Celoro est soulignée de par ses techniques ressortant toute la transparence de la peinture à l’huile.

Ses œuvres font d’ores et déjà parties de nombreuses collections privées sur les quatre continents.

Biography

Coming from a family of Artists, Alexia Celoro has been studying music and fine arts from the earliest age. She got her diploma at the The Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels.

The Fine Arts painter joined “Les Ateliers Mommen” in Brussels, where she lived amongst 36 other professional multidisciplinary artists.

Alexia Celoro then promptly began exhibiting, her artworks gaining the attention of collectors in Belgium, France, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands.

Artist of Italian and Spanish origins, Alexia continued her cultural exploration through many travels across Europe. During this period, she studied in various artists studios, delving into the subjects that animated her such as anatomy, portraits, colours, abstraction or textures.

Alexia Celoro’s unique style is underlined by her techniques

of bringing out all the transparencies of oil paint.

Her artworks are already part of numerous private collections

across the globe.

Artistic approach

Alexia Celoro’s use of oil paint resonates inextricably with the importance of being patient in every day life.

The artist inhabits a multicultural artistic universe in which sensuality, unconditional love, femininity, and spiritual elevation are reoccurring themes transcribed in her paintings. The artist perceives each one of them as (r-)evolutionary acts.

Beyond being a painter, Alexia Celoro defines herself as a storyteller, devoted to transmitting visuals imbued with messages of peace

for all humanity.

Ascending-Elevation

« Ascending » correspond à mes ressentis au sujet de notre évolution humaine et spirituelle. Ces œuvres symbolisent la compassion, l’amour, l’empathie ou encore l’espoir pour un dénouement positif.

“Ascending” expresses my feelings about both our human and spiritual elevation. These artworks symbolise compassion, love, empathy and hope for a positive outcome.

node

Noeud Nord est un terme qui exprime en astrologie ce vers quoi l’on se dirige pour notre évolution voire notre élévation. La série « North Node » souligne mon enracinement et renaissance après une période de guérison.

North Node is an astrological term which expresses where we are heading in our evolution and even our elevation. The series “North Node” reflects my grounding and rebirth after a period of healing.

Vibrating souls

Cette série « Vibrating Souls » constitue un récit visuel de mes questionnements sur mes perceptions du temps et de l’invisible. Émerveillée depuis ma plus tendre enfance par des récits scientifiques comme la théorie des cordes, j’explore mes fausses croyances et dessine toutes ces possibilités de réalités, auxquelles nous avons tous accès.

This series, “Vibrating Souls”, is a visual account of my questioning of my perceptions of time and the invisible. From the youngest age, I was already marvelled by scientific frameworks such as String Theory. With these paintings I explore my own false beliefs and illustrate all of these other possible realities, to which we all have access.

Silent Stars

Quelques années après leurs créations, j’ai pris conscience que cette série m’a permis de faire le deuil de ma mère, devenue étoile bien trop tôt dans cette vie. Les portraits en valeur de gris de « Silent Stars » sont réalisés de manière réaliste et recouverts de glacis permettant une transformation abstraite progressive tels des souvenirs effacés. C’est ainsi que cette ultime épreuve de vie se transforme en œuvres de vie.

A few years after its creation, I realised that this series was a way of grieving my mother, who became a star much too soon in this life. The gray scale portraits in “Silent Stars” are painted in a realistic manner and are then covered in glazes, which allow for a progressive abstract transformation, like erased memories. It is in this way, that one of life’s ultimate trials

turned into an artwork of life.
